“New year, new life”, that’s what people usually say. And this is one of those things that also applies to your business. Over the years, your billing software ETPOS has already realized each new year brings changes and trends that mark the way you work and come to decide your next investments. In 2021, it won’t be different.

As a business partner to several companies in different areas, I already have a lot of experience in these changes and, despite I’m not a fortune teller, I have some predictions about 2021.

• Consumers will invest more on online shopping. If before the pandemic online shopping already shown an upward trend, in 2020 it blew up. The quarantine imposition, the need to avoid lines and the comfort motivated consumers to buy more online. And a Wunderman Thompson Commerce’ study has found that 43% of them now feel more positive about using the services of an online store. So, everything indicates that, in 2021, the trend will keep going, which means that, in your business, you should start thinking about the chance of investing on an online platform to sell and receive orders.

• Process’ automatization is here to stay. On the last few years, technology has been increasingly developing to automize processes, inside and outside companies. And the technological advances on this field has proven to be effective. According to data from McKinsey Global Institute, automatization may increase the growth rate of productivity among 0,8% and 1,4%. Therefore, in 2021, remember to bet on new solutions like a automated payment system.
